We are a Douala-based timber manufacturer and wholesaler with our own woodlands and factory in Cameroon and a large in-house team of woodworking experts.

We provide the following SHIPPING DOCUMENTS to the buyer to ensure a smooth handover at the port:

• Certificate of Origin
• Phytosanitary certificate
• Export declaration
• Packing list
• Shipping B/L
• Commercial invoice
• Quality inspection certificate

At AtoZWoodCompany, we offer multiple payment options to our customers, including cash in advance, a Letter of Credit, and an open account. The payment methods we support include payment by T/T (Telegraphic Transfer), wire transfer–bank to bank, VISA card, and PayPal.

PAYMENT TYPES & TERMS:

1. Cash in Advance: Half the payment is made upfront, and the rest is to be paid upon delivery. The percentage of cash to be paid in advance is negotiable. This is the fastest order term, as it takes less than one day to place the order and receive confirmation from us.

Note: You can pay the upfront amount via a T/T deposit, wire transfer, PayPal or VISA card at the time of signing the contract. The balance amount is to be paid against the B/L (bill of lading) copy or upon delivery of containers at the destination port.

2. Letter of Credit (L/C): This payment method involves a third party, usually a Bank, agreeing to pay the Seller for the goods/services by a given date, at the request of the Buyer, on the condition that relevant documents in compliance with the conditions laid down in the contract are presented at the time.

This payment term may take up to a week (7 days) to place the order and receive confirmation from us.

3. An open account: In this payment term, goods are shipped by us and you have to pay for the same only after you receive the goods. The exact payment terms can be discussed and negotiated when you contact us to place your order.

This is the slowest payment term and may take up to fourteen days (14 days) to place the order and receive our confirmation.

Thanks to our good reputation built over time through consistent quality and on-time delivery, most of our regular customers choose the ‘Cash in Advance’ option and deposit up to 100% payment in advance. VISA PAYMENT GATEWAY IS AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY FOR PREMIUM SERVICE PAYMENTS OR PREMIUM ACCOUNT (GOLD) SUBSCRIBERS.

We provide the following types of trade contracts (International Commercial Terms):

• CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight): In this type of contract, the price includes the cost of shipping and insurance. The goods are delivered to the buyer’s nearest port.
• CNF (Cost and Freight without insurance. This price contract covers only the cost of shipping. Additional services such as insurance, customs clearance and delivery to the buyer’s destination are not included.
• FOB (Free on Board): We deliver the goods to your nearest port. You (the buyer) bear all other costs separately.
• DAP (Delivered at Place): In this Incoterm, the seller (you) must bear the cost of unloading the shipment at the port.
• DPU (Delivered at Place Unloaded): In this trade term, we (the seller) unload the shipment at the port and pay related charges.

We can provide wood in all standard and custom sizes. We saw wood according to the specific size requirements and preferences of our clients. We also have plenty of stock of all wood species and varieties.

The minimum order quantity for all wood types and species at AtoZWoodCompany is 2 containers. We are currently not accepting orders smaller than two containers.

As a Douala, Cameroon-based timber company, we use the Port of Douala for all our export activity.

Douala Port, Cameroon, is where we load all our wood that is ready to export to international locations.

The time to deliver wood will depend on your location and the production. We deliver the wood on time according to the contract demand. Priority is given to new orders.

Our standard delivery contract is the CIF, which covers the cost of freight and insurance. That means we’ll deliver your wood, insurance included, by sea to the destination port. The buyer will have to arrange for the transport of wood to their destination from the port. The buyer is provided with the necessary documents to collect wood at the port.

Yes. We ship our wood timber and logs worldwide, except to Africa.

The wood will be shipped from our port (Douala) to the destination port (in your location). You have to arrange to transfer wood from your port to your warehouse/store.

No, we do not provide tax clearance services. You need to arrange the same and pay any import duties or similar taxes as per your regional laws.

Many factors are used to determine the price of our wood. You’ll find our rates much lower than the competition. This is because we have our own woodlands and all the activities, from wood harvesting and processing to sawing, packaging, and shipping, are done using a large number of machines at our local factory. This helps save cost and time. Our competitive wood pricing helps us maintain good, long-term relationships with our valuable clients.

We at AtoZWoodCompany supply premium grade A+ top-quality wood, including sawn timber and logs. All our wood is straight and clean cut and free from defects such as holes, cracks, rot, or sap.

All our wood is procured from our own woodlands in Cameroon and we maintain the best quality throughout the wood production process. We identify and discard defective parts and export only high-quality wood that is free from defects such as holes and cracks after saw cutting.

Yes, we identify and remove bad wood after the sawing process to ensure our customers get only the best quality, clear-cut wood always. We have a dedicated team to select and sort wood based on quality and defects such as holes, cracks, etc.
