Our Sustainable Timber Management Practices

Here are the four pillars of our responsible forest management approach

Pre-Felling Inventory

Before harvesting forests, we take a record of the number, size, and diameter of each tree. This helps us plan strategically the number and type of trees to cut at a time, ensuring that no unnecessary damage or threat comes to the forest ecosystem.

Selective Harvesting

We carefully select and mark trees based on their age, size, and species, ensuring we fell only mature trees and leave younger trees and saplings alone, allowing them to grow fully and naturally. In addition,

Strategic Forest Regeneration

We maintain a strategic gap between harvesting cycles, allowing sufficient time for forests to regenerate. Each tree is given around 25–30 years to mature. This ensures the natural renewal of our forest resources and ecological balance.

Reduced Impact Logging (RIL)

We follow eco-friendly harvesting methods that reduce soil disturbance, preserve water quality, and minimize unnecessary damage to the surrounding plantation or ground. This includes careful selection & cutting, safe transportation, road maintenance, and a minimal carbon
