At AtoZ Wood Company, our workers’ safety, trust and sustainable growth are our top priorities, which is why we take CSR quite seriously. This includes ensuring our employees and local communities have access to various facilities and services, from providing their children with access to free and quality education to building hospitals and clinics to make quality healthcare accessible to all. Moreover, all employees are provided with housing, cable, water and electricity. To promote community growth, we organize as well as participate in local cultural festivities and events and equally support different religions, castes and backgrounds. Our workers get Sundays off and paid holidays to spend time with families and handle personal matters.

For Communities

At AtoZ Wood Company, we are committed to assisting local communities and tribes in thriving with access to quality healthcare, education, and other basic needs. Besides practicing sustainable harvesting and logging to minimize impact on local communities, we help them grow by providing access to fair employment and skill development opportunities. This helps maintain a mutual respect between the company and the community and ensures wholesome development. Through various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, we are actively contributing to the local community and giving back.

Housing for Workers

All workers at AtoZ Wood Company and their families are provided with free housing, cable, water, electricity, and basic healthcare.

School Building

To promote education and ensure accessibility, we’re building comfortable and modern schools and skills development centres in our region.

Infrastructure Projects

For the sustainable, physical and mental development of our communities, we have launched several modern infrastructure projects, from housing development to culture centres, playgrounds, skill centres, roads & bridges, and schools in our region.

Free Clinics & Hospitals

We ensure our workers, their families and the local community have access to the best healthcare, including emergency treatment and support. To achieve this, we have developed dedicated clinics and hospitals across the regions.

In our clinics, we ensure professional medical staff are available around the clock (24 hours a day) to provide caring treatment and free medicines to those in need.

Development & Maintenance of Roads

While basic road connectivity was available in most regions, many of the roads were either damaged or in bad condition. We took the responsibility to repair damaged roads and build new, temporary roads or bridges where needed. This helped increase both the safety and accessibility of the area. In addition, we constantly perform maintenance on roads that become damaged over time or due to rain, ensuring people can travel safely and comfortably, especially in vehicles. With less damage and water clogging, the roads are more durable than ever, ensuring users’ safety and health.

Shops & Markets

In areas where markets are not easily accessible, we have established dedicated sundry shops or community malls, where our workers and the community, especially people at camps, can easily find everything they need.

Donations & Sponsorships

In addition, we are regularly partnering with other businesses and organizations in the region to run welfare programs for the community and frequently donate everything from cash to timber and merchandise to help local schools, churches, governments, the army, sportspersons, and institutions.
